Ford Eco Sport 2005 with security problems?

Ok... I lost the clicker (keypad with lock/ unlock and alarm enable) for my Ford Eco Sport and since then occasionally when I try to start the car I see a key lock icon on my dash blinking and my ignition seems to be disable. I would turn the key to start it and nothing would happen. No click from the engine, nothing. then I would have to wait sometimes 5 secs, sometimes 10 mins then it would start when I turn the key again. I think the problem is with my security but I don't know how to disable it. I've even tried disconnecting the battery to reset the computer... Maybe I did it wrong maybe I didn't. Can someone help me with this. It's annoying and sometimes embarrassing!

Old Overhead Door Opener Model 551?

We just got in our new house and are trying to program a Clicker Universal Keypad to our garage. I have an older Overhead door Model 551. The Clicker Manual says its campatable with models from 93 and to present. Our house was built in 94. We have no manuals. We need to figure out were the Smart/Learn Button is on the back or if it will even work. We have wasted hours doing this and only found three buttons SW1 SW2 SW? Please help. Why dont they, in juice boxes, ever create a slight suction to compensate for adding the straw?

the straw is filled with air and atmospheric pressure will force that air in the stalk of the straw to displace an equal volume of juice. just like how some juice bottles have a slight vacuum that holds a clicker cap in.(snapple). but in a juice box it allows for a straw to enter without some juice dripping out. i lost a good pair of pants because of a poorly engineered grape juicebox.

I got my belly button pierced 6 days ago and until today it has been pain free and tolerable for the most part. Klonopin (Clonazepam) Withdrawal. HELP!?

I am not gunna go into detail so i'll make it simple. I was taking 1mg clonazepam everyday for about 3 months, basically the doctor has cut me off cold turkey and I am having pretty bad withdrawals. Dizzy, Nausea, Headache, Lack of sleep, No appetite, Bad Anxiety, Panic Attacks.. It's basically just hell. I don't know what to do. She gave me Lexapro but it has given me nothing but bad side effects plus the withdrawals I am already having. I'm not planning on going back to that doctor because they refused to give me Clonazepam which is ridiculous because they didn't taper me off. I am scheduled to make an appointment with a psychiatrist soon but I feel like I can't take it anymore. I seriously feel like I am losing my mind and I just feel so sick and weak.. I don't know what to do because Lexapro is not helping. My only hope is talking to the psychiatrist but even then, i'm not sure he will prescribe me the Clonazepam. These withdrawals are terrible, I don't know how long I can go..What should I do?

Affordable training classes?

My 6 month old yorkie was a surprise gift from my mom. She got him from a friend of hers and it's clear her friend had him for a long time since his carrier she gave us was way too small but never taught him simply commands like sit, stay, not pulling on the leash and such. I've been teaching him and he's doing well especially with the pulling but with commands he's still not completely getting it no matter how many times I try. I use a clicker, train him only for a few minutes each day, try to make it as fun for him as possible but still far from perfect and its been about a month now. So I don't know if it's his age, his last owner, or my methods that is the problem but I'm not sure if I should just enroll him in a training class or keep trying. I'm a college student, unemployed, and on financial aid so I really can't afford anything too expensive. Anybody know of some good places I could go for some help with this without forking over 100s of dollars? Or should I just keep trying? Answers are appreciated :)

What method did you use to teach 'heel'?

For our rescue Rottweiler mix, what I did was if he started pulling I would turn around and go the other way. Every he pulled I would turn and go in the opposite direction and say "heel". He pretty soon learned that if he wanted to go one way then he couldn't pull or he would have to go the other way, and he would stick by me when I told him to heel.

Cheating man? Ringworm/jock itch on hand?

I have a sneaking suspicion he is cheating on me. There was one other occasion where he had ringworm on his hand in the same spot. It was months prior to this. I recnently got a 6 week to a month old kitten about a month ago. My sisters co worker found him abadoned and needed a home and my adult cat needed a pal so I took him in. When he got here I noticed he was doing a little bit of sneezing and had a bit of snot coming out. When I questioned the lady who found him she said that the vet said it was a passing cold and that he would be fine. So I let it go. After 2 weeks of seeing the sneezing get more frequent and a little more snot it was recommending that I use the antibiotics that I had remaining from previous kittens who had simulair problems ( recommended by a vet by phone for a small fee) so I did. This did not help. Now Im noticing that the snot is crusting on his nose and making it harder for him to breathe. I CAN NOT AFFORD TO TAKE HIM TO THE VET! Normally i would, i highly care about animals like they are my family. But thanks to state budget cuts my assistance got decreased and left me with barely enough money to pay rent. Can someone please give me something I can do at home or buy for cheap that can help this little guy out??? My heart is breaking there has to be something I can try! Whats wrong with my lip piercing?

I got my lip peirced about two months ago and it's been perfectly fine until now. It's not producing puss or crust or anything so it's most likely not infected but on the inside of my lip it seems my skin has formed kind of a lump...it's just like it's a little swollen lump on one side, tastes like an open wound. It doesn't hurt and it doesn't look like my skin will grow over the flat back at all..I just don't know what it is or how to make this swelling go down. Horse picks things up but won't hold them(trick)?

I've taught my horse to pick things up to the point where I can point at an object and she'll grab it, pick it up to my height and drop it. I'm stumped on how to teach her to hold onto it. K i got my rook pierced a week ago. The piercing kinda hurt but its cause the thick cartilage i have. But i cleaned it everyday. Then i iced it more then Finlay decided to take a percaset to ease the pain it helped and i passed right out then i work up this Morning my ear barley hurt but i was swollen to twice its normal size the balls weren't covered but i cant see the bar anymore and i woke up to clean it and a thick crust was on it it was a yellow crust like after you get a cut and it stops bleeding and you get the yellow crus on it thats wat it looked like. So i cleaned it off put h2ocen on it o clean it then i sea salted my ear for about 5 mins. Am i doing everything correctly i dont wan mpiercingng to be infected ohaveeTakeak i out an how long will it take before the swelling goes down. I know this doesn't answer your question, but if your new rabbit is going to be housed with/near the male, it is best to get a doe, bucks can be really aggressive toward one another. (Of course it helps to spay/neuter them anyway.) Altered male/female get along well together.

Potty training a 5 year old dog?

I have a shih tzu about 5 years old and I love him alot. I take full responsibility for not properly training him in the past. I have been clicker training and have been training more often and he is great! I feel bad that I hadn't made an effort like this in the past but now that I am ready to fully train him I was hoping to get tips on how to break him of his bad habits. He tends to pee in the same spot behind a big leather chair on the carpet. He goes potty inside pretty often and I'm ready for him to start going outside. We have used a cleaner on the spot where he goes and I have had a little closer eye on him. So far so good...but tips on how I can get him to go outside would be helpful :) I like the idea of teaching him to ring a bell to warn me but I don't have one and I would rather something like barking maybe but something along those lines for a warning. I'm going to make this as short as possible..bare with me..I'm in college now but going to talk a bit about my highschool experience. I had physical and mental problems going into highschool and got caught up with the wrong crowd all through highschool but finally found the courage to break free from the bad influences when I graduated and finally got rid of a lot of bad influences. How much can i expect to pay to get my 2007 milan door fixed?

We have a 2007 mercury milan. Yesterday one of my rear doors started acting up. It will not lock or unlock using either the "clicker" or the lock/unlock button in the front. I will only lock or unlock if I manually unlock/lock that door. All other doors work fine. Also the motor works, you can hear it running (longer than usual) and makes a funny noise. Could something be knocked off track??? How much could i expect to pay to get it fixed? Occasionally my car won't start the first time, I wait 1-2 minutes and then it starts fine, why?

I have a 2004 Impala with approximately 81k on it, base with 3.4 v6. It has been doing this for at least a year and a half. Most of the time when I go the start the car its starts right up the first time with no hesitation. But every once in a while, maybe 1 out of 10 starts or 1 out of 20 starts it won't start the first time but if I wait a minute or two it starts fine. I am not doing anything wrong with when starting the car (I put the key in and turn it like everybody else does). When it does this I can hear the engine trying to start and then it dies. I never changed the fuel filter or spark plugs and my mechanic and other mechanics I have been going to have not told me my start is bad or weak or anything. Just to let you know this car has no special key and back in September of 2009 a few of my keys started acting funny in the ignition (i had to hold the key while turning and even then they got stuck sometimes, so I got rid of those and I have been using the keys that turn easily instead of risking damaging the ignition and the keys I use now that turn easily are more worn than the ones I got rid of, it makes no sense to me. People so blindly trust the pet food companies and don't realize that food like this can do more damage to your dog than any good. I would seriously consider looking into higher quality kibbles for your dog. I suggest Orijen, Acana, Blue [Buffalo] Wilderness, and Wellness CORE. And don't allow her to be picky. If she doesn't eat something, take it away and give it to her at next mealtime. Dogs won't starve themselves, and if you let her get away with it, she's just going to learn that turning her nose up to something will get her what she wants.

this is not the first post i have read from you today, listen genetics do not play as big a role as you are making them seem! i was a fatass all through middleschool then i began swimming laps and eventually running now i lift weights and run reguraly.. at first i absolutely despised excercise! now i can't live w/o it! just grab an ipod and fill it with your favorite songs and start jogging atleast 5 times a week and adjust your diet to make it more healty, remove soda and junk food for the most part! trust me once you start seeing results it will motivate you to not stop! ill admit there are times where i have gotten lazy for example it has been 9 months since i began excercising and i took a nearly 3 months break just because i got lazy.. Hey, Im 14 about to turn 15 but I have been smoking for the past 3 1/2 years and I quit about 10 weeks ago. The thing is - when I first started I would ignore the fact that me and my friends would smoke but I would get WAAY more stoned than them - and also that I would have these sudden rushes of sense and realization that would hit me as I got less stoned. Weed would blow my mind - BUT WAAAAY too much. As I got less stoned - my senses (taste, smell & just generally feeling there) would kick in and I would feel normal & 'back' again but as I gradually began smoking more heavily (during the 2nd and 3rd year) the time in between these realizations when I smoked (And I was smoking weed & cigs quite regularly) would increase in length until I would have to wait days then months and now it seems 10 weeks (and counting) before my senses would kick in. I feel so disociated - not upset or deppressed or even bored but I just feel not here. I want to have my senses back - all my mates say I should begin feeling like myself again and that it only takes 56 days for weed to leave your system but I feel mentally the same and also emotionally empty - feeling only weak happiness rarely and only sad or laughing but its not truely how I feel because I just dont feel in control. & I DO NOT feel anxiety. please, its been years since I have felt like I am actually here - HELP!!!!!!!!!

Apartment removing perks/amenities - is there any legal recourse?

I'm renting a supposedly 'luxury' apartment (cough). Paying $1500 a month for a one bedroom not including any utilities even water, sewer or trash. The apartment was supposed to have a computer room and a game room.. The apartment has only been open about two years and already they've taken the pool sticks/pool balls/shuffleboard equipment, etc. from the game room.. Removed 1 of the 4 computers, removed the printer from the computer room, and the internet has not been 'live' in the computer room for over a week. Apparently SOME tenants were taking advantage/messing things up, but they have cameras in the public areas and I don't believe all responsible tenants should be punished! Is there any legal recourse or do tenants have no right to request the return of perks advertised and available when signing the lease. This is in Virginia in Loudoun County. Oh yeah.. and the gate clickers for the parking garage don't work every month or so.. but I'm not even going to complain about that. I just feel taken advantage of in general because it seems they just keep taking stuff away and I'm already paying an arm and a leg for the SUPPOSED 'luxury'.

Stretched ears are sore and crusty?

I started stretching my ears two days ago and used acrylic tapers. I then put acrylic plugs in after stretching them. I know acrylic isn't good, but that's all I had and I'm buying stainless steel plugs this weekend. But, I woke up this morning and my ears were slightly sore and had a bit of crust on the back of them. I've been cleaning them twice a day in the shower with warm water and sea salt.

Problems with upping from a 00 to 7/16ths?

I had 00 ear gauges for several months and about two weeks ago I decided that I wanted to go up to a 7/16th. The entire time I've been gauging my ears (the RIGHT way, doing one notch up at a time) I've never had bleeding or pussing. But upon trying to up to a 7/16th, it just wouldn't go in. It was so tough I had to make sure that it was the right size after 00. Since it was, I tried again... Still no luck. So, since it wasn't doing it the easy way, I took all the pre-causions. Took a hot shower, used vaseline to help lubricate, and took it very carefully. After minutes of trying to get just one in, I got it. The other one took a little less time. Well, the tapers are massive and hard to sleep on, but my ears were so sensitive and swollen that I couldn't change them. After three days, they finally moved around more and were less painful so I switch them out. Well, they're crusting pretty bad. Its not straight blood, its a mixture of puss and blood. Any time I try to take them out, it starts pussing and bleeding... not heavily but pretty good. I clean them, but I don't take them out because they're so sensitive. When I did take them out to change them, they don't look exploded or ripped. But I've never had that problem before so, maybe I just don't recognize the signs. There's nothing extreme looking going on with them besides the excess liquids. Any advice?

Different Dog Training Methods in the same home?

I am looking at getting a puppy very soon. My room mate already has a 2 year old dog of his own. He taught his dog the basics using a reward/punishment training method. She has developed some bad habits such as jumping on couches that frankly don't bother me but things I would not want my dog doing. I have been researching clicker training and plan on using this method. My questions is whether his dog's bad habits will affect my puppy's training. How to prevent scarring when cut is almost healed?

I had a bad big abrasion on my skin, had cleaned it daily and always covered it with neosporin and bandage, and than i would start to let it breathe and air out, since it has stopped pussing, and all of the crust is off of it. Now the skin is just red on it, it looks like it is very close to healing. Thing is, what if it leave a big huge scar area? A whole area of scar tissue? Ick! How can I prevent this from happening at this point? Should I put more neosporin on it, or will that just throw off natures course since it is already healing? I don't have the piercing after care stuff but I made some saline which I read is good for cleaning out lip and tongue piercings, I don't really touch the hole itself but every so often I twist around the ring to keep it from crusting. Also the area on the inside of my mouth is swollen but not on the outside. Are there any tips to keep it from getting any worse?

Baking a pie shell for chicken pot pie?

I have a recipe for an easy chicken pot pie but it only calls for pie crust on top. I want pie crust on the bottom as well since it is my favorite part! i have this rash/blister on my legs that dont seem to be going away. they started out as bites (not sure form what) or looked like bites and due to some realllyyyyyyyy hard scratching developed puss filled blisters that pop and start oozing this liquid. it also crusts over after it drys. i remember how it started, a single bite that had a scab that i picked at, then a rash developped, now i have pus filledblisters all over both legs (its been about a week since the bite) do i have impetigo? or mabye scabies? i hope not, im going to the doctor tmrw so im kinda worried bout what he might say and i wanna knowwhat i have and not be surprised when i get there, so...any help?

Is there something wrong with my Border Collie?

Ok so i have 3 Border Collies my youngest ones Ivy and Disney are very smart! When i teach them new tricks they learn in like less than a day. But my oldest one Boomer (hes 3 years old) isn't so smart. It took me 2 weeks to train him sit and even longer to teach him lay down. When we tell him no he completely ignores us and keeps on doing whatever it is. He also hates new people and my cousin sometimes he even snaps at people and growls. We have tried time and time again to get him to stop. He also is really bad at agility. Ivy and Disney are very good at it. I love him but it's just so annoying that he never listens. I tried using a clicker with him to teach him new tricks. The only thing he wants is the treat. Sometimes he well just jump up and take it out of my hand. When we tell Ivy and Disney no (which rarely happens) they stop. So is there something wrong with Boomer? We've asked the Vet and they said sometimes BC's can be mental. And yes when he was a puppy we took him to puppy classes. Instead of playing like the other puppies he just humped all of them and they were boys!! So is there something wrong?:(

Sudden septum piercing pain?

I've had my septum pierced for a little over 2 months. So far everything has gone fine. It wasn't tender after about the first month and stopped crusting around that time too. I have lessened the sea salt soaks to once a day and one washing (with soap and water) a day. That didn't seem to bother it either. But the other morning I woke up to my piercing hurting pretty bad, and it crusting pretty bad. It doesn't stink, but it does hurt. The crust is yellowish whiteish, not green. But there is a white ring around the piercing itself from what I can see. I've been cleaning it quite a bit and nothing seems to help. Could it be infected?

Since it's so recent, hard to tell...it may even be better by now. You don't say anything about pain or itching. Did the redness change? I'd try a few ice cubes in a plastic bag to reduce swelling. If it progresses to conjunctivitis there isn't much you can do except to protect the people you'll be with. If the swelling becomes painful and tender to touch it's likely an infected oil gland and should respond to not-too-hot water compresses.

New rook peircing in pain. need help ?

K i got my rook peirced a week ago. The peircing kinda hurt but its cause the thick cartilage i have. But i cleaned it everyday. I kinda messed with it a bit but really not a whole lot i stayed out of dorty water. Ex lakes and ocean. I never left it under running water or more then a couple mins. But yesturday i was experiensing seriou pain in my ear i had cleaned it twice that day with my h2ocean spray. I that night it got so bad that i iced it for 2 hours then the pain was unbarable i looked at it in the mirror it wasnt badly swollen i had no crust on the peircing. Then i iced it more then finaly decided to take a percaset to ease the pain it helpped and i passed right out then i wokr up this morening my ear barly hurt but i was swollen to twice its normal size the balls werent covered but i cant see thbar anymore and i woke up to clean it and a thick crust was on it it was a yellow crust like afer you get a cut and it stops bleeding and you get the yellow crus on it thats wat it looked like. So i cleanned it off put h2ocen on it o clean it then i sea salted my ear for about 5 mins. Am i doing everything correctly i dont wan my peircing to be infected or haveo tak i out an how long will it take before the swelling goes down. Is thre anything else i can do to help it?? plz help it hurts spooo bad

The clicker should mean to the dog that something good just happened so good things are onthe way for me like a treat or petting. So using that method keep trying with the training. LOL ok first of all, you really shouldnt try to clicker train a bird. they are too independent and want things their way. it will never work. secondly consider the type of bird u have. ringnecks are the most independent type of bird (seriously). i have one and he is a complete monster but thats just how they are !! learn to love it cuz if u change her personality she wont be fun anymore. whenever ringnecks are trained to be nicer they usually just stop being themselves altogether and trust me u dont want that. my ringneck is 15 yrs old i had him since he was 3. same thing he would bite me all the time he actually pierced my ear once thats how bad he bit me. but over time it stopped. he never bites me at all anymore because i handled him as much as i could and now hes my best friend. so just give it time like i said ringnecks are very defiant birds. also, when he/she is about 2 to 3 years old u will be able to tell the gender. if it develops a ring around its neck its a boy. girl ringnecks do not actually have a ring neck LOL. but unfortunetly it doesnt develop right away so its just a matter of waiting to see. these birds are awesome and honestly i wouls have 100 of them if i could they may seem nasty but seriously just hang in there trust me ur bird will become a big part of ur life and a best friend. i do absoltuly evetything with my ringneck. i love him sooo much lol it just takes time !!!! and yes ringnecks are very playful. it is very normal for the bird to run back and forth for long periods of time when excited. mine does it everytime i come home cuz hes happy to see me its the best feeling in the world and he doesnt stop until i take him out haha !! well hope i helped !!!!! good luck with ur bird

Badminton question: What's the best backhand grip?

Well I have my forehand grip, or the "frying pan grip", and then there's that one grip where you use your thumb to make your backhand stronger. I don't really like this grip so I use the frying pan grip to hit all my backhands. But this makes it really hard to do a backhand smash (I really can't do one anyway, haha), and it's quite weak. Am I just holding it the wrong way? I really don't like to switch back and forth between grips, because I don't have much time.

Co-worker pulled a knife on me?

I had just started working at this pallet company for 3 weeks and since the first week one of the other guys there took advantage and I think bullied me. He would have me grab him things a couple feet away from him, stuff he should be getting himself since that was part of his job and I was busy doing my own thing but i grabbed what he needed anyways. Then after a week his request became ridiculous like having me grab him sodas and he would for no reason kick my piles of trash and sawdust I had just swept up and tell me to "clean this S**T UP" he would put his hands on my food and other belongings like my cell phone. one day he put his hands on me and tried to be funny or look tough by putting my hand behind my back and push up like police do, that's when thins started to go down hill and I stopped doing what he would tell me to do and started to ignore him and he told me I have to start doing what he told me to do( He was no higher that me and he had just been working there for 2 weeks longer than me.) he then start throwing old gloves, that the coworkers rolled up into balls and throw them at co workers as a joke, I thought that was un professorial since we are working at a pallet company around nail guns and saws so me and this other guy had bad blood from the fist week. then one day my supervisor came up out of nowhere and put his hands on me and pushed me back out of the way almost making me trip on a step and pushing a stack of wood out of the way to turn the machine off... I couldn't hear him call for me ( if he was) since I had my protective hearing muffs on and my head phones on under those ( I had gotten permission from the same supervisor I could listen to music) that had made me angry that he pushed me out of his way and i started to hold that anger in me the next day I was working in my area when when the guy had came up put his hands on my ear muffs and pulled me out of the way from another machine I was aware of my surroundings and knew what was going on so I think it was just another reason to touch me, I then turned around and pushed the guy and told him to never put his hands on me ever again and stated to yell at him. later that same day we had a safety meeting and I left my water bottle behind and when i went to pick it up he got up and kicked it over, I went out to the parking lot to see this guy sitting down giving me dirty looks, I then Screamed " WHAT THE F**K ARE YOU LOOKING AT" he got up started to walk at me and said "what the F**k you just say to me" I thought there was about to be a fight so I dropped what I was holding and that's when he pulled knife on me I remained calm and planed my that I would start backing up keeping my distance then lunge at the knife but never did. eventually he put the knife away and I found out later that I had been fired for pushing him and he never got fired for pulling a knife on me since the bosses like this guy. I feel this guy saw me as weak and took advantage of me to make him self feel powerful and good about himself. What do I do about this whole thing?

Ipod scroll and light wont work!!!?

I have been using FB for several years but I never click on ads and while I check updates daily, I rarely post, don't play games, have no apps, limited privacy to friends only, and I am now limited to less than a day of all updates (with option for updates from all friends and pages to show). Training with Staffordshire Bull Terrier?

Okay well where should i start, a kennel would really be a smart investment for night time and when there is no one home. i have a few dogs myself i HATE clicker traing i have used the lead to train when puppy goes to bite on something make a loud noise and pull him with the lead after a bit he will realize when he goes to bite or chew there is a nasty sound that goes along with it he will stop. also with sit and stay u keep the lead on always have some yummy treats dogs love there food, have him sit and u take a step back keep your hand up in the stop motion even if it is only one sec tell puppy good boy and give treat do it again and again eventually he will stay and you can let go of the lead. Puppies will bite unfortunately i would get a KONG and place peanut butter in it that should keep him busy. as far as tug-a war i don't suggest playing that it messes up there puppy teeth. as far as how long puppy will tell u when he is done. i say about one hour.. hope this helped

Dizziness upon getting up?

Lately I've been spending alot of time in bed. It's not hot in my house. About 5 seconds after getting up I lose my sight for about 20 second, lose all feeling, feel weak, and all my limbs go numb. I'm 15 years old, I sleep about 8 hours during daylight hours, I eat approximately 750-1500 calories a day, I don't drink that much, I'm 5' 10'' and 130 lb. (I know I'm not very healthy). I also play video games for approximately 6 hours a day. (Once again I'm not very health conscious).

What could my dream mean?

I think it means that when you need your mom the most, she's not gonna be there. It could mean that like something bad will happen to her and then when you're in deep pain and your suffering, she's not gonna be there anymore. I hope nothing bad happens though! that would be TERRIBLE!

Summer vacation bracket problems?

Well this all depends how long you've had them on and how your teeth move. Every person is different. The VERY FIRST day one of my brackets were loosened by biting into a piece of chicken lol. This may allow your teeth to move, but this can all be fixed when you get back. It will most likely only make your time wearing braces longer.

What's wrong with my dog's ears?

I have three dogs, 2 yorkies and a maltese, ages 8 and 7. Recently, I noticed that one of my yorkies has black crust on his ears and is losing fur there. I can also pick off the loose crusty pieces and it takes the fur off with it. He doesn't scratch his ears much, so it doesn't seem to bother him. What is it?

Whoa you've been misinformed! Clicker training is the complete OPPOSITE of cruel training methods. The way it works is the dog always gets a click and a treat together. But the clicker and treats are faded out over time as the puppy becomes more and more trained. Then, the clicker is not used only food and praise. The clicker is just a way of cementing in the dogs mind exactly what it did that got it the treat. It is a wonderful, effective, and kind method. It's used to train elephants, dolphins, horses, chickens etc... Clicker training is an all positive reward based method, no cruelty attached. If you are concerned about being mean to your dog then never, ever take him to training that uses shock collars, pinch collars, or harsh corrective methods. Good luck!

What might cause an asymmetrical torso? I have an asymmetrical torso and I've noticed that when I do oblique abdominal exercises one side is much weaker and not capable of doing as many reps. Also is it something that could be corrected through muscle training or is it more likely genetic?

There appears to be something wrong with my red tail boa. Help?

I've only had her for nearly two weeks. Recently, she hasn't been as active as she usually is, and she seems weaker and doesn't cling AS tightly as she usually does when being held. Now, she is about to shed, and I know that their behavior changes a little during this time period. Anyway, I've noticed that, since she entered her blue phase, the skin around her neck has been really loose. Also, there's always saliva coming from her mouth, but she doesn't wheeze. I assume that she's dehydrated and has a respiratory infection, but I'm not entirely sure. When we had ball pythons, I recall the skin around their necks appearing loose right before they shed. Is that normal? Also, is it normal for her to become less active before she sheds, and weaker? Also, how long does it take for her to start shedding after she goes into the blue phase? Her eyes had been clouded over, and now they've returned to normal. How much longer should it be before she sheds, assuming she isn't stressed or anything? I've been trying to keep the humidity up in her tank, as well as giving her soaks in room temperature water daily. I realize there's a lot of information here, but I'm just trying to make sure she's alright, and I don't want her to suffer due to my incompetence. If I've left out any information that could be helpful, please tell me. Is most of what's going on simply due to her shedding, except for the excess of saliva around her mouth? Some of it may actually be nothing, but I have a tendency to worry about her. Any help that can be given would be much appreciated.

To make a very long story short, My husband and I have suffered losing eight babies. Four of them were 1st trimester and the other four were second trimester. My last one ended at 22 weeks due to a incompetent cervix (weak cervix)/Preterm labor just like the other losses in my second trimester. I have had two failed cervical cerclage (cervical stitch). The last pregnancy with a cervical stitch damaged my cervix. I do know about a Trans abdominal cerclage but I am too afraid to try again. I am not able to handle the anxiety and stress while being pregnant and being afraid of losing my baby. I have no living children and I would really love to be a mother to our biological children. My husband and I have looked into adoption and will probably go that route one day. I have a very close friend who has offered to be a surrogate mother for my husband and I. My question is has anyone got a surrogate mother that they already knew instead of going through an agency to find you a surrogate? Where do I start? Where did you do and how much was the cost?

Cockatiel scared of target training.?

I have two cockatiels and I want to train them, so I started to separate them (one is would be in a cage in another room while I work with the other) and then I put them back after training. The problem is that my cockatiel is scared of the pencil I use for target training. Sometimes the bird would touch it and other times it wont do anything to it, even if I bring it (even millet) right next to its beak ( I also use a clicker when it touches it). How can I make this training effective so that the bird consistently touches the stick?

Any tips for training an older beagle pup?

So we are just about to adopt a lovely 8month old beagle girl, lemon and white. She has been crate trained, and clicker trained, went to obedience training courses etc but her training has been slightly neglected over the last couple of months. I'm slightly worried about continuing on with her training, firstly because we trained all our own dogs from they were wee pups, and secondly because ive never used the clicker training method. I'm assuming that it would be best to continue on with the method she is familiar with? I've tried 'googling' info on training an older beagle but all i get is stuff on young puppies. Anyone have any experience in this area and have any suggestions as to what to do? Many thanks.

Toaster Strudel Issues?

Okay, so I eat Toaster Strudels every other morning. But for some reason, whenever I bite into one, the inside is still kind of frozen! (It's warm but its not jelly, like in the commercials) I put the toaster on the Medium setting but the middle doesn't cook through! The only way to get the middle jelly-like is to burn the crust!!! Are there any other methods of cooking a Toaster Strudel to get the desired jelly-like middle with a crispy crust? How do YOU cook it?

Computer mouse clicker is messing up.?

Im not sure where to begin. This problem is off and on and it occurs about 75% of the time. When i left click on my back ground, it opens up that little menu as if i right clicked, and i already checked the left right click on settings. When im on the internet, its like my mouse is disabled, i cant exit out, or click on anything, i have to wait a long time and just hope it starts working again. I use a Toshiba laptop and am using the computer pad for the mouse, i already tried using a plug in mouse but no help there. Any help with this problem?

Tell them to stand near the exit of the room and turn on the tv, then immediately remove the remote from the room the TV is in, to farthest point away in the residence. That will tell you if the remote is the problem. I suspect it is. If not, go through the menus on the TV and see if they might have set sleep on in 2 minutes or something without realizing they did that.
