Turn off laptop Lcd while working?

I know how to turn off the lcd with the program turn off lcd and with the ctrl+f6 key combination but neither work for what I want to do. I have an auto clicker (ghost mouse) that I want to leave running at night without having to run my lcd screen. Is there some way to turn off the lcd screen while the computer is still active?
