Will my conjunctivitis heal by tomorrow?

i was weedwacking yesterday and i took a rock to the eye and it was bothering me all day yesterday. and this morning i woke up with my eye red and crust on it. so my sister whos a nurse gave me this oitment to put in my eye to make it better and it doesnt really itch but she says i have it. could it go away by tomorrow?
