Tragus and helix piercing problem?

Use contact lens cleaning solution to soak the crusties off and clean the area without removing the jewellery. Or use hot salt water - use about a quarter of a teaspoon of sea salt to about a cup of water, as hot as you can take, and either dip the piercing into the water and hold it there til the water starts cooling or use cotton wool to soak the area. Don't fiddle with the piercing, and whatever you do never use surgical spirit or anything other than salt water. If still in doubt, ask a piercer.
